No.120628 CT Rocky attained martyrdom on 05 Aug 2015 at about 0730 due to militant firing at NarsooNala near Simrauli (17 Kms from Udhampur towards Srinagar in between Udhampur and Kud). BSF Tata bus part of convoy having Regd. No.PB08-AT3851, FTR HQ BSF driven by N0.89004559 CT (Dvr) Daljeet Singh of 02 BnBSF (attach with DIG Prov Branch), was attacked by a single militant who fired on the BSF Bus indiscriminately after coming near the BSF bus with intension of getting inside the bus and injured driver No.89004559 CT(Dvr) Daljit Singh of 02 BnBSF and escort No.120628139 Ct Rocky of this unit.No.1206281398 Ct Rocky of this unit retaliated instantly and killed the militant on the sport.This valiant action by No.120628139 Ct Rocky prevented entry of militant in the BSF and their further intention to cause casualties of BSF passengers inside the bus.However, immediately other militants hiding uphill started firing towards said bus, No.120628139 Ct Rocky succumbed to injuries and attained martyrdom in line of his duty
