Brief of Incident

On 05 Aug 2022 at about 0815 hrs OCD exercise was being conducted  in r/o E & F Coy of 142 Bn under supervision of CT Mustaq Ahmed instructor of  CIATS BSF KARAHALLI along with one more instructor .During the course of tieing up rope across the pond located inside the campus, No 041460986 CT (GD) 
M Senthil Kumaran of F Coy, 142 Bn BSF, Age appox 39 yrs drowned. He was rescued by the instructor and taken to unit hospital. After first aid he was evacuated to nearest civil hospital, Devnhalli (Bengaluru). At the time of evaluation the condition was critical. But at the time of examination by the duty medical officer at Civil Hospital, Devanhalli declared him dead. 142 Bn BSF is presently undergoing pre induction training w.e.f 07 July 2022 to 16 Aug 2022 for induction into ANO Theatre in Odisha  Detail of deceased NO 041460986 CT M Senthil kumaran ,DOB 01.06.1983 Date of death 05.08.2022 at about 0845 hrs (.)
