Brief of Incident

On 18 March 2022 at about 1155 hours, an area domination Ptlg Party of BOP Kushnimara led by 849000281 SI S C Mudi  a/w No 93455003 HC S D Joshi, No 111876150 CT B Paddiah, No 118093552 CT Jitendra Kumar Pandey were carrying out patrolling with Maruti Gypsy bearing Registration No AS 01 W 1708 driven by No. 117440188 Ct/Dvr Dharvinder Singh. While carrying out patrolling in area from BOP Kushnimara to Jhalacahr, there was a sharp turn in the IBB road near BP 1061/3-S while vehicle reaching the sharp turn suddenly a goat came in front of the vehicle, on this driver applied sudden brake, resultantly the vehicle disbalanced in turning and skidded into nearby water body. No 849000281 SI S C Mudi, No 93455003 HC S D Joshi and Ct B Paddiah swim out from the water but No. 117440188 Ct/Dvr Dharvinder Singh and No 118093552 Ct Jitendra Kumar Pandey with gypsy trapped under water. On getting information by OP Party Coy Comdr immediately reached the spot and made out efforts to rescue. At about 1500 hrs, No. 117440188 Ct/Dvr Dharvinder Singh found in unconscious condition. He was immediately evacuated to Govt hospital Mankachar where duty doctor declared him brought dead at about 1530 hrs. Details of deceased are as under:- DOB- 12.09.1989, DOE- 09.06.2011, Date of death - 181530 hrs,  NOK- Smt Rajni Rani(Wife) M/No. 9463791797, D.O.B - 30.01.1993, Father Name - Sh. Darshan Lal. Home address- Vill- Dharampur, PO- Sahiba, Dist. SBS Nagar (Punjab).On 19 Mar 2022 at about 1042 hrs, after continuous efforts, No. 118093570 CT Jitender Kumar Pandey was fished out by civilians. He was immediately evacuated to Sub divisional Civil Hospital, Hatsingimari where doctor declared him brought dead at about 191145 hrs.
