Welcome to the website of Subsidiary Training Centre, BSF Punjab. STC BSF Kharkan is located at a distance of about 14 km from Hoshiarpur city on Hoshiarpur-Una road in the foothills of lower Shivaliks. STC Punjab was initially established at Jalandhar on 1st march, 1968 and later shifted to the present location on 25th April 1979. Total area of the campus is 898 acres 02 kanals and 05 marlas Under the jurisdiction of Hoshiarpur Distt of Punjab. This is the only Premier training institute in western theatre to impart basic recruit Training to mahila personnel. In addition to basic recruit training, STC Kharkan is also imparting pre-courses training for various in services courses from time to time as per directions of force HQrs BSF New Delhi. Basic recruit training of police personnel is also carried out at STC BSF Kharkan.
