Welcome to the website of Subsidiary Training Centre Border Security Force .This Training Centre is situated in Kharkan on the Hoshiarpur-Una road ,at a distance of about 14 km from Hoshiarpur city ,at the foothills of Shivalik hills .STC Border Security Force Punjab was raised on 1st March 1968 at Jalandhar , and later shifted to the present location on 25th April 1979.The total area of this camp in 898 acres 02 kanal and 05 marla area under the authority of Hoshiarpur district of Punjab . It is the only training institute is western region which provides basic training to women personnel .In addition to basic recruit training , this training centre is also imparting pre-course training for various courses as per the directive of Force Headquarters Border Security Force , New Delhi from time to time .Basic training of police personnel is also done at STC Border Security Force Kharkan .The environment is peaceful and perfectly conductive to prepare the budding border men for the challenging tasks on the border and internal security duties.
