IG's MESSAGE

It is indeed a privilege and great honour for me to head this elite STC, which was established on 10th June 1990 in Humhama, District Budgam, J & K. This Training Centre was raised under command of Shri N S Kanwar, Commandant. The prime responsibility of this institution is to impart basic training to recruit constables and this centre has trained 21,735 recruits since it’s inception. The centre also conducts force level UID courses, Pre courses of force level courses and in-service mandatory courses.

The STC BSF Kashmir provides the Nation with brave bordermen by empowering them with the mental, moral and physical attributes required to cope up with the future challenges for the force while guarding the international borders. We in STC, provide the highest standard of focused training, fully equipping and grooming them with moral and ethical values to make them professional Borderman.
