It is a proud privilege to assume command of STC Bangalore, one of the oldest and premier Recruit Training Centres. Located in remarkably moderate weather at Yelahanka, close to Bengaluru city, it is an ideal place for training the recruits, especially the candidates from South. Raised on 11th April 1986, the Institute has imbibed the philosophy “Training is Corner-Stone of discipline and core strength of Force’s professionalism”.
Needless to say that Constabulary forms bulk strength of the Force, hence training recruits to churn out professional and all round Bordermen assumes greater significance. Besides, recruit training, the Institute also contributes to various other training activities entrusted by Force HQ.
