WELFARE ACTIVITIES

PLANTATION DRIVE

2,40,000 Plants planted by Frontier BSF Jammu in the year 2023 and 1,61,410 plants planted up to 30.09.2024 during the year 2024. Tree Plantation under Campaign #एक पेड़ माँ के नाम and #PLANT4MOTHER drive also conducted by Frontier BSF Jammu.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Under command Sectors/Bns as well as this HQ have already been directed to give wide publicity among the troops as well as family members/ Veerangans residing in surrounding areas of BSF Campus for availing the various Scholarships as mentioned below for wards of BSF serving/ retired/ deceased personnel.

(b) DG’s Merit Scholarship
(c) DG’s BWWA Bal Divyang Scholarship
(d) DG’s BWWA Sukanya Scholarship

SCIENTIFIC BEE-KEEPING

Scientific Bee-keeping is being done by all BSF Campuses under Jammu Ftr. Bee-Boxes procured and placed at the appropriate places including some BOPs. 215 BSF personnel and 239 civilians (border population) have been trained for Bee-keeping. Harvested honey is being utilized in Messes of concerned quarters.

HAR GHAR TIRANGA

Har Ghar Tiranga campaign was successfully conducted w.e.f. 13th Aug to 15th Aug 2024 by under command Sectors/Bns and this HQ. During the campaign, various activities like National Flag march on border area, Cycle rally, Hoisting National Flag at the premises of BSF campuses, BSF School, residential and administrative buildings

SWACHTA HI SEVA CAMPAIGN 2024

Swachta hi Seva campaign-2024 organised by Frontier BSF Jammu w.e.f.14 Sept’ 2024 to 2nd Oct’ 2024. During the campaign mass cleanliness of the campus area, outside BSF campus, awareness programme etc. conducted and events uploaded on SHS portal to promote the campaign.

SPL CAMPAIGN 4.0 FOR INSTITUTIONALIZING SWACHHATA AND MINIMIZING PENDENCY IN GOVT OFFICES 2ND OCT TO 31ST OCT’ 2024

Spl Campaign 4.0 is in progress w.e.f. 2nd Oct to 31st Oct 2024 in the Frontier BSF Jammu.
