VISIT OF GOVERNOR WEST BENGAL TO BSF BORDER OUT POST
(26 June 2023): On 2nd July 2023, from 1120 to 1320 hrs, Dr. C V Ananda Bose, Hon'ble Governor of West Bengal visited Border Out Post Sitai of 75 Battalion under BSF Guwahati Frontier.
Hon'ble Governor was welcomed by Sh Dinesh Kumar Yadav, IPS, Inspector General BSF. Hon' ble Governor discussed about ops preparedness and functioning of BSF on International Border with IG Ftr and other field commanders.
Hon'ble Governor has also visited the operational area and interacted with Jawans on duty. Hon’ble Governor has praised the BSF and expressed that the Nation is indebted to the bravehearts of BSF whose dedication & commitment to duty instil confidence & pride among people of India. Recognising the dedication & commitments of Bordermen, Hon’ble Gov conferred prestigious Scroll of Honour to 75 Bn BSF.
