BORDER SECURITY FORCE PROMPT RESPONSE HELPED BIKANER GUWAHATI EXP DERAILMENT SURVIVORS

Guwahati: Bordermen under Frontier HQ BSF Guwahati, apart from manning Indo-Bangladesh International Border, also assist civilians in emergency situations by providing medical assistance and carrying out rescue operations.
On 13th Jan 2021 at about 1700 hrs, 12 Bogies of Train no- 15966 ,Bikaner-Guwahati Express derailed between new Maynaguri and New Domohoni Railway Station of Coochbehar district, West Bengal.
On getting info about tragic train accident, troops of 169 BN under BSFGuwahati Ftr with medical team swiftly responded and joined rescue operation with civil administration. Seema Praharis worked untiringly to help the trapped and injured people from the derailed coaches and saved precious lives.
The heroic & swift efforts undertaken by BSF helped several victims of above unfortunate train accident.
Nevertheless the Border Security Force is dedicated for the Security of Borders of India as well as providing help to civilians as its guided principle and ethos.
