IG's MESSAGE
It gives me immense pleasure and honour to assume command of Subsidiary Training Centre, Indore, which is transforming our young Recruits into physically tough, mentally robust and professionally sound bordermen always committed to the safety, security and sanctity of Nation's land borders.
This STC was raised on 1st April 1966 as BTC and upgraded to STC on 01 Dec 2011.
STC BSF Indore has a beautiful campus at Bijasan Hill spread in an area of 122 Acre. Indore enjoys the typical Malwa climate, which is moderate throughout the year and creates condusive environment for rigorous training.
Apart from the basic training of recruits, this institute imparts specialised training to trained soldiers of BSF. The FHQ BSF has entrusted upon this STC to run in Service Courses like PW (OR's), PC (TAC) Course for SOs (above 55 Years), MR- II, GLC Phase -I and phase II courses.
