                                                                                                            BRIEF HISTORY OF STC BSF INDORE

STC BSF Indore is one of the oldest Recruit Trg centres of BSF. It was raised in April 1966 as a BRT (Basic Training Centre) as an integral part of BSF Academy Teakanpur. In 1992, it was shifted to CSWT BSF Indore campus.During year 2011, the capacity of this training centre was reviewed by MHA to enhance the infrastructure & manpower to cope up with deficiency of manpower in BSF. Hence it was upgraded to STC on 1st Dec 2011. In May 2015, STC BSF Indore was shifted to its new location at Bijasan Campus. STC BSF Indore has an exotic campus at BIjasan spread in an area of 122 Acre. STC BSF Indore is placed at three locations i.e. Bijasan campus, CSWT campus & Reoti range. 

Indore enjoys the typical Malwa Climate, which is moderate throughout the year. The rainy season, which is generally prolonged, lasts from late June till mid September. Max Temp: 30°C, Min Temp: 10°C in December-January. Weather remains pleasant generally throughout the year.
