3rd BSF Inter-Command Women Athletic Meet-2022 was organised from 22nd to 24th September 2022 at BSF Campus Gandhinagar. 77 young women BSF athletes from BSF Eastern Command and Western Command participated in 14 track and field events in this three day competition. Today, on 24th Sept' 2022, in a grand and colorful closing ceremony, Chief Guest Sh G S Malik, IPS, IG, BSF, Gujarat Frontier alongwith Smt Savita Malik, President, BWWA Gujarat Frontier in presence of Senior Officers and all ranks of BSF presented medals & trophies to the winners. During the closing ceremony, Chief Guest was greeted by a grand and excellent march past by all the teams on the melodious tunes played by the brass band.

Shri P V Rama Sastry, IPS, ADG (Western Command), BSF Chandigarh visited Gujarat Frontier from 23rd to 25th August 2022. On 23rd Aug 2022on arrival at Ahmedabad Airport, ADG BSF Chandigarh was received by Sh G S Malik, IPS, IG BSF, Gujarat Ftr in presence of Senior Officers. On arrival at Frontier HQ BSF Gandhinagar, IG BSF Gujarat Ftr apprised ADG BSF Chandigarh about operational matters, border management and other initiatives undertaken by the Frontier.
