Organizing a webinar on the positive and possible negative aspects of digital skill and financial literacy at the Border Security Force Meru Camp.
In the last few years, more and more use of digital technology is increasing in the daily activities of life in the society. Its importance is likely to become more and stronger in the coming times. With the aim of making the sentinels and their families aware of the precautions to be taken during its maximum use and the aspects of prevention of counterfeiting At the time of positive use of technology, a special lecture was organized through webinar to make awareness on the possible forgery and negative aspects of digital technology, today on 09 March 2022 at 16:30 at Family Welfare Centre, Meru. During this, a financial and information technology expert from the force headquarters together in the entire border security force told the guards present in detail about the use and precautions of technology and apps in financial transactions in their daily life. During this, cyber financial crimes and ways to prevent them were discussed. During this program 176 sentinels from Border Security Force, Meru family participated and benefitted.
Shri PS Bains, Inspector General, TCS, in his message to the Meru family, said that there has been an unprecedented increase in the use of digital technology in the last few years. The whole world is connected together on this platform. Digital technology is a very fast and powerful means of payment, which has an impact on every person. By pressing a button, any kind of information / information reaches the destination in front of us, but it can also go to others unintentionally. Therefore, before financial literacy and digital technology, let us examine the positive and negative effects of information sharing. At the same time, in this digital age and e-governance era, digital technology is also an incomparable boon, which makes its unprecedented contribution in social development. In the current covid environment, its use is becoming very easy in every field like education, business, shopping, transaction, banking, many types of booking, application etc. We need to be constantly careful and alert. We should make better use of digital technology from today so that we can provide a disciplined and clean environment to the coming generation.
