Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi - Organizing friendly matches of volleyball between BSF and teams from Silwar Khurd, Silwar Kalan and Amanari villages.
As a special celebration on the 75th Independence Year of India by the Central Government, to remember and bow down to the martyrdom of the great heroes of the country, who have made an important contribution in the freedom struggle and who have made their supreme sacrifice in the security of the country. Amrit Mahotsav of Independence is being organized for In this sequence, under the aegis of Shri PS Bains, Inspector General Border Security Force Meru, STS, BSF and Silwar Khurd with the basic objective of bringing the citizens closer to the Border Security Force, to make them aware of the working style and responsibilities and to make them aware of the service of the country. The volleyball friendly match between the volleyball teams of Silvar Kalan and Amanari villages was held on 13th March 2022 at 11 am, this match was very thrilling. A lot of enthusiasm was seen in all the four teams - Silwar Khurd, Silwar Kalan and Amanari villages and STS, BSF teams for the friendly match. Friendly match played of 03 sets. The final match was played between team Silwar Kalan and team Silwar Khurd, which team Silwar Kalan village won by 2-1. After the end of the match, sports material was distributed to all the participants and teams as a gift by the Border Security Force. During this, heads of all the three villages, dignitaries and a large number of common citizens and officers and personnel of Border Security Force were present for the encouragement of their teams.
During this, a stall of Border Security Force CPC Canteen was also set up by Border Security Force Meru in view of the upcoming Holi festival. Through which goods were provided to the common citizens at prices less than the market price. Villagers made huge purchases in CPC canteen stalls.
Shri PS Bains, Inspector General, Border Security Force in his message congratulated the winning team and appreciated the participants saying that sports play an important role in our lives. Sports keep our body and mind healthy. He further said that sports create a sense of competition and competition in us and sports are also very important to keep the body fit. The Inspector General said that while appreciating both the teams, said that everyone played the match with great interest and the participants showed great interest in this game, as well as the Inspector General thanked all the officials and personnel who organized this friendly match.
