BWWA President Note
It is a matter of pride for me that I have got the opportunity to work as BWWA President of Frontier HQ BSF Punjab. I will try my best to fulfill all the responsibilities of BWWA President together with my team. BWWA is an organization that conducts welfare activities for our border guards and their families. The main objective of the BWWA is that the children of border guards should get good education, they should have good physical development, there should be good cleanliness in the premises, and a harmonious atmosphere should be created by celebrating festivals of every religion from time to time.
With this, I wish all the sentinel families a bright future and pray to God that the coming time brings lots of happiness to you.
Aims and objects of the society
(a) To secure and promote the Welfare of all members of BSF, their Family members, Widows, Ex-BSF personnel, their families and their dependents including Non-combatised Civilian Employees.
(b) To organize Technical Courses for the serving and retired Force personnel and their families. for rehabilitation, Resettlement.
(c) To promote awareness for education, cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation self-help etc among the general. Public specially in border area.
(d) To open the sale outlets, inter-alia for sale of products of the Family Welfare Centres as well as other items.
(e) To organize Welfare activities to cater to the needs of the families of the serving/retired/deceased BSF personnel.
(f) Welfare and assistance to patients under treatment in BSF Hospitals with special attention to those injured in operations.
(g) To raise funds in any other appropriate manner for meeting the expenses of Welfare activities.
(h) To undertake any charitable acts.
2. All the incomes, earnings, movable and immovable properties of the Association shall be solely utilized and applied towards the welfare of BSF personnel & families including retirees.
