Introduction

Centre for Electronics and Digital Communication (CEDCO) Bengaluru is an IS/ISO 9001:2015 Certified premier institute of BSF for imparting electronics and communication training to newly inducted communication personnel joining as Radio Operator in the force as well as providing various in-service courses to communication personnel. The institute was established in June 1990.

It is spread over a sprawling well-planned campus of 67 acres of land. The campus has a large training area with various training facilities. It is a picturesque campus with variety of vegetation with flower plants. The climate is pleasant here. Bengaluru itself is a “Hub for Information Technology” and known as “The Silicon Valley of India”, in IT circles.

The institute is well equipped with modern facilities like digital classrooms, HF/VHF & Computer Labs to provide both theoretical as well as hands on training on various devices/software used in the Force. The course structure has been developed to incorporate the basic knowledge on the subjects as well as the latest new trends in the world of electronics and communication.

by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).

The scope of Certification is:-

“Impart training in Electronics and Tele-Communication, Information technology, battery charging/maintenance, Solar energy, Engine/Generator Maintenance and Map Reading”
