1. I welcome you to the website of the BSF Artillery.
2. It is indeed an honour and privilege for me to entrusted with the command of BSF Artillery. I convey my best wishes to all Seema Praharis and their families and assure them that professional competence, operational preparedness, equipment serviceability, safety, security and welfare of BSF Gunners shall be my top most priority at all times.
3. BSF Artillery has established itself as a professional and efficient organisation since its inception in 1971 and has been discharging its duties with dedication and elan. I believe that we, the BSF Arty, are an operational arm of the BSF and as game changers we can inflict catastrophic devastation on the enemy should he indulge in any misadventure into our motherland.
4. BSF Artillery is mandated to provide intimate fire power in support of offensive and defensive tasks to BSF & Army units/fmns under operational control of the Army, and efforts to prepare for execution of this role are ongoing and continuously being refined.
5. Endeavour is being made in the direction of modernization of BSF Arty in terms of infusion of latest Tech/Eqpt and we are looking forward to induction of New Gen Eqpt like TIIOE, Thermal Imager with LRF and a fully automated and digitized fire control sys duly integrated with the Shakti Sys of the Army in the near future in order to improve and strengthen the operational efficiency of BSF Artillery.
