बीएसएफ गुवाहाटी फ्रंटियर ने स्वच्छता अभियान का आयोजन किया

                                                                                            BSF GUWAHATI FRONTIER ORGANIZED CLEANLINESS DRIVE  

            On the occasion of National Cleanliness Day, BSF troops of Frontier Headquarter Guwahati, First Battalion National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and CAPF Composite Hospital, Patgaon launched a massive cleanliness drive under the guidance of Shri Dinesh Kumar Yadav, IPS, Inspector General, BSF Guwahati Frontier, on the theme of  "Swachhta Hi Seva".

02.       During said campaign, public places outside the BSF Campus located on Rani Road and the area around Patgaon market, Azara Railway Station and Railway Yard were cleaned. During the drive Station Manager of Railway Station Ajara, Mr. Bhumindra Das and the Railway Staff and volunteers of Dhruvtara Mandal women self-help Group also participated enthusiastically. The main objective of this campaign was to create awareness about cleanliness among the force personnel, their families and local populace.

03.       During the program, Shri Dinesh Kumar Yadav, IPS, Inspector General said that cleanliness ensures beauty of environment around us as well as to our mind and soul. He said that Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi had envisioned clean and healthy India, which is the responsibility of every Indian citizen to fulfill and also called for keeping the environment around us clean and beautiful.

04.       Similarly, cleanliness campaigns were also organized in collaboration with the local populace at all the Sector headquarters and Battalions under BSF Guwahati Frontier and up to the Border Out Post (BOP) level located on India-Bangladesh International Border. Border Security Force personnel are not only dedicated to the security of India's international borders but also organize various types of programs to awaken consciousness among the local citizens in the interest of the society and the nation.
